Pickleball for a cause! Welcome to the Western Slope Dinosaur Open – a competetive, DUPR reported tournament at the Lincoln Park Pickleball Complex.

Brackets may be combined if less than five teams register in any given division. Brackets may be split if more than ten teams register in any given division.

FORMAT: Double-elimation brackets with come around. Upper bracket games will be best 2 of 3 games to 11, win by 2. Consolation bracket games will be 1 game to 15, win by 2. First and second round matches will be self-officiated; all medal matches will be refereed.

SCHEDULE: Please note that this tournament will NOT follow the usual club tournament schedule of running games from 8am-4pm…Games will be scheduled in an afternoon/evening format from 12pm to 8pm due to city use of pickleball courts.

This fundraiser tournament will benefit Dinosaur Journey/Museums of Western Colorado and their ongoing efforts in paleontology research and education at renowned paleontological sites in the Grand Valley. This area is home to rich fossil deposits that have produced type specimens for Brachiosaurus and Allosaurus, as well as hundreds of thousands of fossils being excavated and analyzed daily.
